One shortcut, straight to the clipboard

Press ⇧⌘2, drag a rectangle and let go. The image is ready as a PNG and pastes with ⌘V. No window, no save dialog.

Presentable in a moment

Snup Pæn puts a background, padding, rounded corners and a soft shadow around the image, ready for a slide or a post.

Record the screen

Record an area, a window or the whole screen to MP4. Save short clips as GIFs, and trim them before you share.

Pæn makes a screenshot presentable.

Press P while you choose, and Snup adds 32 points of padding, a background, rounded corners and a soft shadow to whatever you grab. Snup remembers it for next time. Pick one of six backgrounds, and adjust padding, corners and shadow in Settings → Pæn.

What you use every day is one keystroke away. The rest is in the menu.

Area, window or screen

Drag a rectangle, click a window, or press Enter for the whole screen. It works on every display.

Your own folder

Turn on auto-save and every snup also lands in the folder you choose. Pictures/Snup by default.

The last ten

The menu keeps your last ten snups and recordings. Click one and it's on the clipboard again.

Drag the thumbnail

After each snup a small thumbnail slides in at the bottom right. Drag it straight into an email, a chat or a document.

Share a link

Copy Link puts the file on nstatxt.com with no account, and the link works for 3 days. Or use your own Cloudflare R2 bucket or your own server.

Trim and GIF

Cut the start and end off a recording, and save short clips as GIFs.

In the menu bar

Snup lives in the menu bar, starts when you log in and stays out of the Dock.

Danish and English

Snup speaks Danish and English and follows your Mac's language.

Your screenshots stay on your Mac.
